Earthquake
Wednesday night was my first earthquake. Of course it was pretty scarey. At first I thought someone was just sort of jumping on the floors nearby. That was the first four seconds, then it got much bigger. Not "shit falling off the tables" bigger, just more like these steady waves rolling through the floor.
The earthqauke was a 4.4, and was in Glen Ellen, CA, 42 miles north of where I am. I can't imagine what it felt like there.
I'm really glad to have experienced an earthquake, I was getting nervous about not having felt any in the two years I've been here... like a big one was building up.
